United Airlines | Storage Building at Newark Liberty International Airport
Our architects designed the new 70,000 square feet material storage building to house aircraft parts for all of United’s fleet. The design was completed within three months, on an accelerated schedule.
Small parts were stored in 30-foot-tall, state-of-the-art silos. Large parts were stored in a custom structural steel rack system. The building also had storage spaces for tire storage, flammable materials storage, cold storage, battery charging, cantilevered rack storage, tire and hose storage, and seat and seat parts storage.
